TV thieves

4/19 at 8:30 a.m. Agren Appliance employees Tuesday morning discovered their back door had been kicked in and five televisions had been stolen. The TVs ranged in value from $500 to $1500. Brunswick detectives investigating the case identified two TVs for sale online that they believed were the allegedly stolen ones. Detectives met the reported sellers in Freeport, and determined the televisions to be the ones allegedly missing from Agren. Detectives reportedly recovered the other three televisions at the apartment of Hinerman and Basford, and at a Portland pawn shop. Lisa Marie Hinerman, 25, and Kevin Basford, 34, both of Lincoln Street, were arrested on charges of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, and several other charges.  Police report the two were also driving in a stolen car.
