Two Brunswick masters swimmers have made the world top 10 rankings for 2013. Dave Bright captured third place in the long course 400 meter individual medley and fourth in the same event in the short course in the 60-64 age group. He then came in second in both the 400 IM and the 200 backstroke, third in the 200 butterfly and 200 medley and fourth in the 100 backstroke at the YMCA masters championships in Sarasota, Fla.

David Vail ranked sixth in the short course 200 backstroke for men in the 70-74 division and swam the anchor leg for the Maine Masters on two world class relays, a fourth-place 400 medley relay and a fifth-place 400 freestyle relay. Vail teamed with Bill Jones, Bob Nelson and Bill Rupert.
