BRUNSWICK — A man indicted on three counts of drug trafficking faces a March 8 arraignment in Cumberland County Superior Court in Portland.

James K. Brawn, 25, of Farley Road, was indicted last month by a Cumberland County grand jury on a single Class A charge of aggravated drug trafficking and two Class B charges of trafficking in scheduled drugs.

Court records in the case show Brawn was arrested by Maine Drug Enforcement Agency agents after he allegedly sold oxycodone tablets last Nov. 17 and 22.

The Nov. 17 sale occured within 1,000 feet of a school, according to the indictment. A trial is expected to begin in June.

An indictment is a finding that enough evidence exists to prosecute, not a finding of guilt.
