BRUNSWICK — More than 50,000 books, tapes, CDs, DVDs, puzzles and games will be available during the annual Curtis Friends Book Sale.

The sale will be held June 25-27 at the Brunswick Junior High School gymnasium. All proceeds benefit the Curtis Memorial Library.

The sale is organized by the Curtis Friends, a 600-member group that helps raise funds for the library.

Book sale proceeds have been previously used to purchase museum passes for library patrons; buy 700 books for the adult and children’s collections; support the Community Read program, and to fund ongoing weekly programs and events. Money is also used to support library staff development.

The book sale begins with a Member Appreciation sale on June 24, from 5-7 p.m. Memberships range from $10 to $30 and are available at the door.

Regular sale hours are June 25, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; June 26, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and June 27, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
