BRUNSWICK — Town Manager John Eldridge on Dec. 7 announced the town had hired Derek Scrapchansky as its new assistant town manager.
Scrapchansky was stationed at the former Brunswick Naval Air Station from 2007-09, and served 25 years as a commander in the Navy.
The town has been without an assistant town manager since 2009, when then-assistant town manager Gary Brown became the interim town manager.
