BRUNSWICK — The candidates in state Senate District 24 – Democrat Everett “Brownie” Carson of Harpswell, and Brunswick Republican Tristam Coffin – will be at Thornton Oaks Retirement Community, 25 Thornton Way, on Tuesday, Oct. 11, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
The candidates will present their respective platforms and take questions for a half hour each. The event is free.
Carson and Coffin are running to replace Sen. Stan Gerzofsky, D-Brunswick, who can’t run again due to term limits. District 24 includes Brunswick, Harpswell, Freeport, North Yarmouth and Pownal.
