A crowd watches Monday evening, May 21, as about 20 Brunswick firefighters conduct a controlled burn of an old annex building at Jordan Acres School on Charles Court, just off Jordan Avenue. While firefighters tested new hose nozzles that the Fire Department may purchase, Deputy Chief Donald Koslosky said keeping children in the crowd at a safe distance from the fire was the biggest challenge.
