Mike Heath and Steve Eagles install a new flaming chalice sculpture, the symbol of Unitarian Universalism, last week at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Brunswick. The Rev. Sylvia Stocker said the artwork was created by sculptor Uriah Bueller and commissioned by Richard Barrett, grandson of a former minister, the Rev. Otto Raspe, who served the congregation during World War I. Stocker said the flame is painted in rainbow colors as a display of the congregation’s commitment to the LGBTQ community.
