Oliver Casey, 5, of Brunswick, helps the staff at Atlantic Regional Federal Credit Union pour contributed coins into a counter at the Brunswick branch on Friday, Feb. 27. The credit union and Gelato Fiasco combined to create a Curtis Memorial Library fundraiser where kids used empty gelato jars as coin collectors in February, during national Love Your Library month. Casey estimated the contributions would total $1 million, but after all the change was counted, it was closer to $1,000.
