BRUNSWICK — A career fair with a focus on help for veterans and their families will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 2 Columbus Drive, on Nov. 13.
The Hiring Maine’s Heroes Job and Resource Fair will be open to anyone seeking employment. It’s made possible by a partnership between the Southern Midcoast CareerCenter and the Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber.
More than 40 employers will be represented, along with veterans’ services agencies.
In addition, the fair will hold workshops on resume writing at 11 a.m., interviewing at noon, and transition assistance for veterans at 1 p.m. Workshop registration is available at www.midcoastmaine.com or by calling 725-8797.
