BRUNSWICK — Police Cmdr. Marc Hagan on Tuesday said no new information is available about an alleged attempted abduction last week.
Police said an 11-year-old girl reported an older man in a black pickup truck approached her on Jordan Avenue at around 4 p.m. June 7, asking her to come closer to the vehicle and offering her candy.
The girl fled on foot and hid, and was later walked home by a friend. Her mother then reported seeing the truck pass by again.
Police were looking for an older man, with white hair and white goatee, driving a black truck, possibly a Chevrolet Silverado.
