BRUNSWICK — U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree, D-Maine, announced Tuesday that the Brunswick Executive Airport will receive a nearly $116,500 grant from the Federal Aviation Administration.

The purpose of the grant, Pingree said in a press release, is to rehabilitate and seal cracks in about 16,000 feet of runways.

Pingree sits on the House Appropriations Committee, which oversees funding of federal agencies like the FAA.
