2/17 at 8:03 p.m. Scott M. Webber, 22, of 26 Kerr Drive, Harpswell, was summonsed on Route 1 on charges of criminal speed greater than 30 mph over posted limit and driving to endanger.
2/17 at 11:09 p.m. Jessica Lyn Adams, 22, of 223 Browns Point Road, Bowdoinham, was summonsed at Two Bridges Jail on charges of theft by deception and forgery.
2/18 at 9:08 a.m. Angela J. Tanski, 29, of 14 Dillios Drive, was summonsed on Route 1 on a charge of operating while license suspended or revoked.
Indecent exposure
2/20 at 4:22 p.m.
After pulling into the parking lot at TJ Maxx, a woman reportedly noticed a man masturbating in the car next to her. According to police reports, the woman asked the man what he was doing. The man shrugged and continued. The woman took the man’s license plate and police later summonsed William Rocheleau, 47, of Ward Circle on a charge of indecent exposure.
Attempted purse snatching
2/21 at 7:35 p.m
Brunswick police responded to an attempted purse snatching in the Hannaford parking lot on Elm Street. Police say a 66-year-old Wiscasset woman was walking through the parking area when an male ran up behind her and tried to grab her purse. The woman was pulled to the ground. The man, who police described as a white male in his late twenties to early thirties, then fled without the purse. The suspect, who was later identified in parking lot security photos, was wearing gray-green jacket over a hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black hat. He was still at large at press time. Police asked that tips be sent to tips@brunswickpd.org or by calling 725-6670. The victim was treated for a broken arm at Parkview Adventist Hospital and later released.

2/22 at 12:57 a.m. Bruce Martin Benner, 49, of Bath Road, Wiscasset, was arrested by Officer Ted Raedel on charges of operating under the influence and violation of conditions of release.
2/19 at 7:40 p.m. David Bruce Lloyd Jr., 49, of Fuller Mountain Road, Phippsburg, was arrested by Officer Jason Aucoin on a charge of operating under the influence and issued summonses on charges of possession of a usable amount of marijuana and possession of open alcohol containers on a public way.

A juvenile was issued a summons by Sgt. Dan Couture on a charge of providing a place for minors to drink.
2/17 at 11:51 a.m. Arthur Williams, 37, of Simmons Lane, Phippsburg, was issued a summons by Officer Richard Ross on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with an expired registration.
Jewelry store theft
2/20 at 10:12 p.m.
Police responded to the complaint that someone had smashed out the front door window at Springer’s Jewelers on Front Street and stolen a few items. While the store locks up almost all its inventory, it had left some items out, according to police. An alarm sounded upon entry of the burglar, who police say was in and out in about half a minute, and one item was found near the store following a K9 search. The other stolen items total about $1,000. Officers Andrew Booth, Brett McIntire and Michelle Small responded to the scene, along with Sgt. Dan Couture. Detective Sgt. Bob Savory is now handling the case. Police are not saying what specific items were taken at this time, and they say they suspect that only one person entered the store. People with information should call the Bath Police detective division at 443-8367.
Stolen figurines
2/18 at 11:06 a.m.
Officer Richard Ross investigated the theft complaint of three pieces of an eight-piece set of hand-blown glass nautical figurine display at Maine Maritime Museum on Washington Street. The full set of eight figurines is valued at about $2,100, according to police.

Alexander Wytas, 18, of Prospect Street, was issued a summons by Officer Robert Ramsay on a charge of operating an ATV on a public way.
2/20. Justin George, 20, of Cookson Road, Albion, was issued summonses by Officer Robert Ramsay on charges of attaching false plates and failure to provide proof of insurance.
2/19 at 2:26 a.m. Four juveniles were issued summonses by Officer Peter Kaminski on charges of burglary to a motor vehicle, while one was also issued a summons on a charge of possession of a usable amount of marijuana.
Vehicle burglary
2/18 at 12:16 p.m.
Officer Peter Kaminski investigated the complaint of a vehicle being burglarized sometime the day before while parked on Goldeneye Drive. The complainant’s vehicle had been unlocked, and stolen was a brown Coach-brand purse valued at $100, along with her driver’s license and miscellaneous paperwork. No cash or credit cards were stolen.
