Police were informed that three men had reportedly left J.R. Maxwell’s without paying for their meals. An employee of the restaurant knew the names of two of the three men, and Officer Andrew Booth placed calls in order to track them down. At 8:30 p.m. that evening the two identified men arrived at the Bath Police Department to report they had forgotten their wallet and had just paid the bill. No charges were filed.

A Windjammer Way resident reportedly told police that she thought a man working in her home had stolen her jewelry. The stolen items were found at Coastal Trading Post, and Officer Keith Jensen and Cpl. Marc Brunelle are investigating the case.

Green stolen from greenhouse
3/5 at 9:56 a.m.
Officer Randy Cook investigated the report of a burglary at the Urban Garden Center on Lewiston Road the night before. An unknown suspect or suspects entered by tearing off metal vents on the outside of the greenhouse and took about $175 in cash, according to reports.
