3/11 at 4:46 p.m. Roger A. Lavigne, 56, of 9 Stone St., was arrested on Stone Street on charges of unlawful cultivation of marijuana.
3/12 at 10:48 p.m. Kevin L. Whalen, 41, of 62 Pleasant St. Apt. E, was arrested on Pleasant Street on three warrant arrest charges and a charge of criminal trespass.
3/13 at 9:52 a.m. A 13-year-old was arrested at Bull Moose Music on Maine Street on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.
3/13 at 8:48 p.m. Jamaal Tavarus Bailey, 24, of Brunswick Naval Air Station, was arrested on Antietam Street on charges of violation of condition of release, assault, terrorizing and tampering with a witness, informant, victim or juror.
3/14 at 1:25 a.m. Deric P. Faro, 23, of 34 Water St. Apt. A, was arrested on Lincoln Street on a warrant arrest charge.
3/15 at 12:28 p.m. Christy M. Chase, 22, of 246 Stevens Ave., Portland, was arrested on Bath Road on a warrant arrest charge.

Pot red-handed
3/11 at 4:46 p.m.
Brunswick police and agents from Maine Drug Enforcement Agency raided a residence at 9 Stone St. on suspicion of marijuana cultivation. Officers discovered five marijuana plants, $6,000 in cash, three guns and four pounds of market-ready pot. James F. Dorrington, 44, and Roger A. Lavigne, 56, both of that residence, were home at the time of the raid. Dorrington, who has previous criminal convictions, was arrested on charges unlawful cultivation of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a felon and unlawfully trafficking in scheduled drugs. Lavigne was arrested on a charge of unlawful cultivation of marijuana. Both are free on bail.

Midnight mischief

The owner of the Midnight Insurance property on Vine Street reported that someone might have tried to enter his building by forcing one of the inner doors. No entry seemed to have been gained, although beer bottles were found around the property, indicating that people had gathered around there. Officer Keith Jensen responded, and police were asked to keep an eye on the property.
