FALMOUTH — With all precincts counted, State Sen. Cathy Breen, a Democrat from Falmouth has won re-election.
In the district that covers Falmouth, Cumberland, Yarmouth, Chebeague, Long Island, Gray and part of Westbrook, Breen had a commanding lead over Republican Cathy Nichols nearly from the beginning of the night.
Breen received 15,152 votes and Nichols got 9,442.
