Bowdoin College’s Emma Beecher makes a move on a Bridgewater State defender during last week’s 16-1 win over Bridgewater State in the first round of the NCAA Division III tournament. The Polar Bears then defeated Geneseo State, 10-6, in the second round, before being eliminated, 14-4, by Cortland State in the quarterfinals. Bowdoin finished the year 15-4.
Bowdoin’s Kellen Alberstone qualified to compete in the NCAA Division III championships in Kalamazoo, Mich. She was also named to the All-NESCAC team and was selected as the ITA Northeast Region Senior of the Year.
