Thanks in part to the running of Nick Tom, Bowdoin’s football season came to a victorious end last weekend in the muck with a 32-27 home win over Colby. Tom rushed for 114 yards and two TDs as the Polar Bears wound up 3-5 and forced a three-way CBB tie with Bates and Colby for the first time since 1995.
Bowdoin’s Thompson Ogilvie placed sixth individually at the New England Division III regional championships Saturday in Cumberland as the Polar Bears came in fifth as a team. The women finished ninth. Ogilvie and teammate Colman Hatton received automatic individual bids to the NCAA Championship
next weekend in Ohio.
