Bowdoin wraps up fall season

M-sportsCLOBowdoin1-112009.JPGThanks in part to the running of Nick Tom, Bowdoin’s football season came to a victorious end last weekend in the muck with a 32-27 home win over Colby. Tom rushed for 114 yards and two TDs as the Polar Bears wound up 3-5 and forced a three-way CBB tie with Bates and Colby for the first time since 1995.
M-sportsCLOBowdoin2-112009.JPGBowdoin’s Thompson Ogilvie placed sixth individually at the New England Division III regional championships Saturday in Cumberland as the Polar Bears came in fifth as a team. The women finished ninth. Ogilvie and teammate Colman Hatton received automatic individual bids to the NCAA Championship
next weekend in Ohio.
