Christopher Williamson makes a save for Bowdoin’s men’s lacrosse team during playoff action. The Polar Bears suffered an agonizing 9-8 double-overtime loss at Tufts in the NESCAC Final Saturday, but earned a NCAA Division II at-large tournament bid. Bowdoin (13-5, 12th in the latest USILA poll) hosted Mount Ida Wednesday in the first round. If the Polar Bears were able to advance, they’d meet either Montclair State or Union Saturday.

Bowdoin’s men’s tennis’ top doubles team Oscar Pena (left) and Sam King and their teammates will host a NCAA Division III regional this weekend. The Polar Bears (13-7) will face either Baruch or U. Mass-Dartmouth Saturday. If victorious, Bowdoin will play Sunday for a spot in the quarterfinals.
