BRUNSWICK — A Bowdoin College student group is seeking funding proposals from nonprofits for next year’s Common Good grants.

Entering in its 13th year, the Common Good grant committee awards more than $10,000 worth of grants every year to nonprofits in the greater Brunswick area. The grants are for use between April 9, 2014, and April 9, 2015.

Eligible communities include Bath, Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Brunswick, Freeport, Georgetown, Harpswell, Lisbon, Lisbon Falls, Phippsburg, Topsham, Woolwich and Yarmouth.

Grant proposals should postmarked by Jan. 31, 2014, and sent to the Common Good Grant Committee, McKeen Center for the Common Good, 4690 College Station, Brunswick.

Applicants will be notified of final decisions on or before April 2, 2014. Final grants will be awarded on April 9 at Bowdoin’s Common Good Grant Awards Ceremony.
