BRUNSWICK — U.S. Sens. Susan Collins and Angus King announced in a joint statement March 7 that the National Science Foundation has awarded a nearly $600,000 grant to Bowdoin College.
The award was made to an ongoing plant physiology project led by Bowdoin Professor Bruce Kohorn.
Some of the grant will be used to fund undergraduate student fellowships, according to the college.
