PORTLAND — The fight against graffiti was bolstered by a $45,000 grant to Graffiti Busters announced Aug. 12 by city-based CBRE-The Boulos Co.
The grant will allow Graffiti Busters to buy a new truck and expand staff while meeting more requests to remove graffiti from local business and property owners.
Graffiti Busters is administered by city-based nonprofit LearningWorks. LearningWorks Executive Director Ethan Strimling said the program has received 169 removal requests this year, an increase from 137 requests received in the same period last year.
