SOUTH PORTLAND — Books-A-Million is hosting a book drive throughout the month for the Portland Public Schools.
The store at 430 Gorham Road at the Maine Mall began the drive on Aug. 2 and will conclude it on Aug. 29. All customers will be asked if they would like to purchase one or more books to donate to Portland school libraries.
School librarians provided wish-lists of hundreds of books to Books-A-Million for the drive.
