SOUTH PORTLAND — Bob’s Stores, a Meriden, Connecticut-based clothing and footwear store, will open its first store in Maine at 301 Maine Mall Road on Sunday, March 22.
More than 30 Bob’s locations dot the New England landscape. The new 16,500-square-foot store will be the first in the chain to carry camping and kayak equipment.
On Sunday afternoon, March 22, Devin McCourty of the New England Patriots will greet patrons and sign autographs from 4:15-6:15.
Eastern Mountain Sports, which previously occupied the building next to Toys ‘R’ Us, closed in January.
