CUMBERLAND — The Planning Board voted Tuesday sent a new draft Comprehensive Plan to the Town Council “with enthusiastic recommendation,” Town Planner Carla Nixon said.
A few changes are still to be incorporated into the document, such as the encouraged use of alternative energy, Nixon said. The board has seen the amended language, which the Comprehensive Plan Committee will work into the document before it goes to the council.
Tuesday’s meeting was the conclusion of a public hearing on the plan which began Oct. 7. There was no public comment.
