BATH — Beverly A. Moore, 66, died May 5 at her home.

She was born in West Bath on April 11, 1943, daughter of Clarence A. and Ethel G. (Seavey) Moore.

In 1961, she graduated from Morse High School.

Over the years, she worked for local restaurants, Hill House Nursing Home and later for Loring Air Force Recreation Center in Great Pond.

In 2007, she moved back to Bath to be closer to her family.

She was an outdoors enthusiast who loved fishing, boating and hunting.

She was predeceased by her parents, her first husband, Harry L. Cressey, her son, James M. Cressey, a brother, Clarence A. Moore Jr., of New Jersey, a niece Jennifer E. Moore and a nephew, Joseph McCole.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jody Murphy and her husband Keith of Woolwich, and Judi Cressey and her husband Peter Moberg of Westbrook, a son, Jeffrey C. Cressey of North Bath; a stepdaughter Anne Marie Cressey of California; a stepson Leighton R. Cressey of Boothbay Harbor; a sister, Janice V. Moore of Great Pond, three brothers, Frank W. Moore of Bath, Harry C. Moore of Dracut, Mass., and William E. Moore of North Bath; four grandchildren, Amanda Lynn Cressey of Boothbay Harbor, Anthony Zwaan of Bath, Ethan Zwaan of Bath, and Randall J. Cressey of Kenduskeag; a great-granddaughter, Mariah; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held from 6-8 p.m., May 8 at David E. Desmond & Son Funeral Home, 638 High St., Bath. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., May 9 at the funeral home, with a reception to follow at the American Legion, 10 Congress Ave., Bath.
