TOPSHAM — Forty-five years after the Beatles broke up, one of many tribute bands dedicated to keeping the Fab Four’s music alive is coming to the Orion Performing Arts Center Friday, Nov. 6.

Beatles for Sale, a Massachusetts band that takes its name from the Beatles’ 1964 album of that name, takes the stage at the Mt. Ararat Middle School venue at 7:30 p.m. The band, which boasts a repertoire 150 Beatles songs, will play all different songs than they played in an appearance last year, according to a press release.

Tickets are $17 in advance at Michaud’s Market on Main Street, the Music Center at the Tontine Mall in Brunswick, the School Administrative District 75 office on Republic Avenue, and at beatlesforsaleatorion.bpt.me. Tickets at the door are $20 for adults and $18 for students younger than 21.

The show is a fundraiser for Orion’s capital fund, geared toward new curtains and improvement of the center’s sound and lights.
