CAPE ELIZABETH — The 2015 TD Beach to Beacon 10K Road Race registered 4,000 runners in a record time on March 13. Participants signed up in 4 minutes 15 seconds, breaking the record set last year by 17 seconds.
There are 1,950 spots remaining through a lottery, which is a chance for runners who missed the online sign-up to get a race bib. The deadline to register on the race website is March 22; the lottery will be held March 24.
The 18th annual race will take place Aug. 1.
