PORTLAND — The eighth annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival will be held at the University of Southern Maine on Saturday, Nov. 7, with doors opening at 4 p.m.
The film series in the Abromson Center at 88 Bedford St. is hosted by the marine stewardship organization Friends of Casco Bay. The event features 17 environmental and adventure films.
Tickets are $27 in advance and are available at cascobay.org. Depending on availability, tickets will also be sold at the door the day of the event for $32. Proceeds benefit Friends of Casco Bay. Screenings begin at 4:50 p.m.
