BATH — Storm drains throughout the city will soon carry the message “Keep it Clean, Drains to River.”

The “Bath Community Storm Drain Stenciling Blitz,” hosted by the Kennebec Estuary Land Trust, will take place Sunday, April 26, from 1-4 p.m.

Up to the event day, teams of two to five volunteers can register to stencil downtown storm drains with the “Keep it Clean” message, meant to advocate for a cleaner city and unpolluted waterway. Participants will meet at the covered picnic area at Waterfront Park, Commercial Street, to be trained and get equipment before painting.

Log onto kennebecestuary.org/storm-drain-stenciling or visit the land’s trust’s 92 Front St. office for team registration packets and more information.
