BATH — A crew of Bath Iron Works employees has won $3 million in the Maine Lottery’s Mega Millions game.

After playing Powerball for years, “Harding’s Maintenance Crew,” as the group calls itself, in July tried its hand at the Mega Millions game, according to a Maine Lottery press release.

An additional “$1 Multiplier” boosted the team’s winnings from $1 million to $3 million, and each member won about $214,000 before taxes. The crew bought its ticket at Cumberland Farms in Woolwich; sale of the winning ticket netted the store a $25,000 bonus.

The group includes Daniel Bisson of Harpswell, Brian Swanson of Georgetown, Christopher Frank of Bowdoinham, Michael Stacy of Woolwich, Jeremy Holt of Montville, Daniel Totorella of Waterville, Gregory Corrow of Lisbon Falls, Albion Wright of Sabattus, John Mott of Dresden, Gregory Frost of Poland, Stephen Scott of Tenants Harbor, Terry Wells of Randolph, Eric Marquis of Lisbon Falls, and David LaPlante of Lewiston.
