BATH — Police are looking for a man who allegedly attacked another person with a hammer.

Jason Mackenzie, 38, whose last-known address is 100 Union St., is being sought in connection with the Aug. 24 incident at 98 Union St. A 37-year-old man from Bowdoin had non-life threatening injuries when police arrived at 1:20 a.m., according to a Police Department press release

The attack came after an argument between the men, according to police, who found a hammer outside the address. The victim was released after being treated at Midcoast Hospital in Brunswick.

An arrest warrant for Mackenzie charges him with aggravated assault. Police said he may be in the Dresden or Augusta areas, and said anyone who knows his location should call them at 443-8339.
