BATH — Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Monday at 9:50 a.m. at the Walgreens store on State Road.

Police said a white man in his 20s entered the store and demanded prescription narcotics at the pharmacy counter. He said he had a gun, although he displayed no gun during the robbery.

The man is described as approximately 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, 130 pounds, with brown eyes. He wore a dark-colored knit hat with contrasting designs, a dark jacket and dark pants. He also covered his lower facial area with a white, purple and black scarf.

The robber left with an undisclosed amount of prescription narcotics. Witnesses told police he jumped into a gold vehicle, possibly a Chevrolet Impala, which was driven by another person.

No description was available of the driver. The vehicle headed north on Route 1.
