Arrests

8/31 at 8:31 p.m. Logan Sewall, 33, of Noble Avenue, was arrested by Officer John Dietlin on Noble Avenue on charges of operating under the influence and violation of conditions of release. Sewall was also issued a summons on charges of leaving the scene of an accident, failing to make notification of an accident, and refusing to sign a summons.

8/31 at 9:34 p.m. Dan Anderson, 44, of Foster’s Point Road, West Bath, was arrested by Officer Nick Green on Noble Avenue on a charge of violation of conditions of release.

9/3 at 1:43 a.m. Curtis Kennedy, 28, of Heath Lane, was arrested by Cpl. Garrett Olson on Congress Avenue on a charge of operating under the influence.

9/3 at 9:03 p.m. Devin Ray, 39, of Berrys Mill Road, West Bath, was arrested by Officer John Dietlin in West Bath on a charge of operating under the influence.

Summonses

8/28 Ashley Mercier, 31, of Blake Road, Turner, was issued a summons by Officer John Dietlin on High Street on a charge of operating after suspension.

8/28 Sara Lentz, 46, of Cromwell Road, Westport Island, was issued a summons by Cpl. Jason Aucoin on Water Street on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident.

9/1 Richard Woodman, 27, of Chestnut Street, was issued a summons by Cpl. Garrett Olson on Old Brunswick Road on a charge of operating with an expired license.

Fire evacuation

9/2 at 10:19 a.m. Firefighters responded to a call at the Seacliff & Family elderly and disabled apartment complex at 47 Floral St. A fire, the cause of which is still being investigated, broke out in one of the building’s units, and all 40 units were temporarily evacuated. There were two minor injuries to firefighters, and another injury that was not related to the fire, according to the department. Firefighters, aided by surrounding departments, cleared the scene at 1:19 p.m. and 30 units were cleared for occupancy at 3:15 p.m., according to Bath Housing. The American Red Cross has helped with lodging for temporarily displaced residents. The amount of damage is still being determined.
