7/2 Carl Chandler, 23, of Tufton Street, Brunswick, was arrested by Officer Jason Aucoin on a charge of trafficking in dangerous knives.

7/3 at 10:30 p.m. Matthew Gaspar, 21, of Baybridge Road, Brunswick, was arrested by Officer Brett McIntire on a charge of violation of condition of release.

7/4 at 9:30 p.m. Erica Burwell, 28, of Davis Court, Brunswick, was arrested by Officer Ted Raedel on a charge of operating under the influence.

7/5 at 9:29 p.m. Brenda Ward, 49, of Windjammer Way, was arrested by Cpl. Marc Brunelle on a charge of operating under the influence.

7/7 at 11:30 p.m. Rocky Ross, 21, of Goddard Street, was arrested by Officer Jason Aucoin on a charge of violation of a protection from abuse order.

7/8 at 3:30 p.m. Mark Boynton, 20, of West Meadow Road, Rockland, was arrested by Officer Keith Jensen on a charge of violating condition of release and issued a summons on a charge of possession of liquor by a minor.

7/9 Charles Gordon, 22, of Bluff Road, was arrested on a charge of robbery. He was also issued a summons by Officer Keith Jensen on charges of sale or use of drug paraphernalia and possession of a usable amount of marijuana.

7/11 at 2:30 a.m. Rayon Wilson, 26, of Seafarer Lane, was arrested by Officer Ted Raedel on charges of operating under the influence and violation of conditions of release.

Summonses

7/4 Amanda Peet, 20, of Middle Street, was issued a summons by Officer Michelle Small on charges of sale or use or drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

7/4 Kayla White, 19, of Five Island Road, Georgetown, was issued a summons by Officer Michelle Small on a charge of possession of marijuana.

7/8 Geoffrey Garceau, 23, of Rocky Ridge Drive, Wiscasset, was issued a summons by Officer Keith Jensen on a charge of operating an unregistered motor vehicle for more than 150 days.

7/12 Casey Norris, 26, of Centre Street, was issued a summons by Sgt. Dan Couture on a charge of providing a place for minors to consume alcohol.

Purse strings snag suspect

7/2 Police responded to an Office Drive residence at about 11:30 a.m. for a reported theft. A woman said a man she knew and allowed into her home had taken her purse and fled. She identified the suspect as Mark Watrous, 29, whose last known address is Denny Road. Watrous was arrested by Brunswick police on warrants. He was interviewed at Two Bridges Jail and charged with theft and violating conditions of release, both Class E crimes.

Stolen shotgun

7/5 at 3:29 p.m. Cpl. Marc Brunelle responded to the report of a burglary of a Seekins Drive residence, where a shotgun was missing. The incident reportedly took place between 6 p.m. July 4 and 1:30 the following morning. There was no sign of forced entry and police said there may have been an unlocked door.

Next time, call a cab

7/9 Charles Gordon, 22, of Bluff Road, was arrested after police were told he allegedly robbed another man. Police said said the victim allegedly asked Gordon for a ride to a local bank so he could cash a paycheck. The victim said that two other men he didn’t know were with Gordon. Instead of being taken home from the bank, the victim was reportedly driven to a remote place in north Bath where one of the unknown men allegedly assaulted him. The victim was hit by a large rock, allegedly thrown by Gordon, when he tried to flee on foot, and he said his money was taken. Gordon was found at his home, along with evidence of the robbery. He was arrested on a charge of robbery, a Class B felony. The two men with Gordon have not yet been identified. Gordon was also charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, which were also seized at his home.
