Rash-onal behavior

4/14 at 11:35 a.m. Off-duty Cpl. Andrew Booth saw two 15-year-old boys checking vehicles in the Bath Shopping Center. Police have meanwhile been  investigating a rash of thefts from vehicles that happened over the weekend in the area of North and Lincoln Streets. Officer Richard Ross responded to Booth’s sighting, and both teens were detained, identified and charged with possession of tobacco products. One was from Brunswick, and the other, from West Bath, was also charged with refusing to submit to arrest or detention. Evidence from the earlier thefts was found in the immediate area of the incident, and charges against one or both of the teens could be forthcoming, according to police.
