BATH — Following a month-long investigation, police arrested three teenagers Tuesday in connection with a vandalism spree.
Police were notified of various reports of vandalism, theft and graffiti from March 2-24, according to a Wednesday press release from Lt. Robert Savary. Five reports were received from March 1-5 of smashed windows to parked vehicles; 10 additional reports from March 18-24 included graffiti to several buildings, and additional damage to vehicles. There was also a report of unauthorized entry and damage to a vacant home, where some items were taken.
Arrested were Robert Bruce, 18, of New Meadows Road, West Bath, who was charged with burglary and aggravated criminal mischief; Zachary Carey, 19, of Middle Street, who was charged with aggravated criminal mischief, and Amelia Trafton, 18, also of Middle Street, who was charged with aggravated criminal mischief.
The total estimated property damage was more than $2,000, and police said investigators are gathering further damaged property estimates.
