BATH — A public forum at Patten Free Library on Thursday, Dec. 11, will provide information about the Affordable Care Act.
The 4-5 p.m. event will address questions related to the new Health Insurance Marketplace, according to the library. Malory Shaughnessy, outreach and education specialist with Maine Community Health Options, will discuss the marketplace and a new co-op health insurance option available to Mainers.
There will be information about eligibility, cost sharing and assistance, and how to enroll or re-enroll. A question-and-answer session will follow.
No registration is required for the forum.
Next year’s ACA open enrollment runs through Feb. 15, 2015. Enrollment by Dec. 15 is required for coverage at the start of next year.
