BATH — United Way of Mid Coast Maine launched its 2016 campaign Tuesday with a goal of raising $1.85 million, which would match what was raised last year.
This year’s theme, “60 Years and Counting,” celebrates the organization’s anniversary. New donations, as well as increases from current donors, will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $60,000 campaign-wide, according to a United Way press release.
The campaign, which concludes Nov. 10, has so far raised 20 percent of its goal.
Donations can be mailed to United Way of Mid Coast Maine, 34 Wing Farm Parkway, Bath, ME 04530. Call United Way at 443-9752 or log onto uwmcm.org for more information.
