Arrests

4/5 Two male juveniles were arrested on a charge of burglary. The burglary took place at the CVS pharmacy at the Bath Shopping Center.

4/4 at 1:39 a.m. James Brawn III, 22, of Spruce Street, was arrested by Officer Ted Raedel on a probation hold.

4/4 at 1:39 a.m. Brandon Withers, 22, of Marc Avenue, Topsham, was arrested by Officer Ted Raedel on a probation hold.

4/4 at 1:32 a.m. Sara Louise Schmitt, 31, of Middle Street, was arrested by Officer Ted Raedel on a charge of violation of conditions of release and issued a summons on charges of possession of a usable amount of marijuana and sale or use of drug paraphernalia.

4/3 Raymond Anderson, 49, of Dummer Street Court, was arrested by Sgt. Jeff Shiers and Officer Andrew Booth on a charge of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.

4/3 at 3:51 a.m. Sean Patrick Smith, 22, of Baybridge Road, Brunswick, was arrested by Officer Ted Raedel on a charge of violation of conditions of release.

4/2 at 12:02 a.m. David Verrill, 34, of Old Brunswick Road, Durham, was arrested by Officer Ted Raedel on charges of operating under the influence and violation of condition of release.

4/1 at 12:45 a.m. Steven Pierce, 22, of Washington Street, was arrested by Sgt. Mike Lathrop on a charge of violation of condition of release.

Summonses

3/30 at 4:22 p.m. Norma Esposito, 45, of Middle Street, was issued a summons by Officer Keith Jensen on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with an expired registration for more than 150 days.

3/3 at 4:07 p.m. Bath police officers responded to Route 1 for a report of a family fight. A 20-year-old man had called the Sagadahoc County Communications Center to report that his father, 49-year-old Raymond Anderson of Dummer Street Court, was following him on Route 1 and trying to force him off the road. The son pulled into the Big Apple parking lot, followed by his father, who then turned back onto Route 1. Officers found Anderson parked at his home. According to reports, Anderson brandished a 33-inch steel pipe at officers. Officer Andrew Booth tased Anderson and officers handcuffed him. Anderson was charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, a felony, and additional charges may follow once the District Attorney’s Office has reviewed the case, according to police.
