BATH — Barbara (Stodder) MacFadden, 82, died Jan. 6 at Mid Coast Hospital.
She was born on Aug. 27, 1926 to Russell H. Stodder Sr. and Beulah McInnis. She graduated from Morse High School.
She attended secretarial school in Boston and returned to Bath to work at a local bank.
She was a secretary at Grace Episcopal Church for 26 years.
She enjoyed sewing, painting, travel, and spending summers at Westport Island with her family.
Family and friends were always warmly welcomed into her home.
She and her husband cared for her disabled sister at home for several years.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband of almost 60 years, Ardenne E. MacFadden, who died in 2004.
She is survived by two daughters, Ellen Grant and her husband Dana of Neptune Beach, Fla., and Leigh Amirault and her husband Raye of Westport Island; and four grandchildren.
There will be no public services.
Arrangements are by David E. Desmond & Son Funeral Home, Bath.
