PORTLAND — Bangor Savings Bank branches this month are collecting jars of peanut butter and jelly to donate to local food pantries.
Since the first such drive in 2012, the bank has donated more than 55,000 jars of peanut butter and jelly to food pantries and other local hunger prevention programs. This year the bank hopes to collect more than 12,600 jars.
Donations can be dropped off at any Bangor Savings Bank branch during regular business hours.
