FALMOUTH — Amy Kuhn and Hope Cahan were elected to the two, three-year seats available on the Town Council. Kuhn was the highest vote-getter in the field of four, which also included incumbent Ned Kitchel.
Kuhn received 2,563 votes and Cahan 1,738.
In the two-way race for a two-year seat on the council, Ted Asherman beat out John Lane in a vote of 2,134 to 972.
In addition, voters approved the school budget in a vote of 2,858 in favor to
717 against. A new Charter Commission was also approved with 2,119 for and
1,023 voting against.
