“Linked,” an exhibition by artist Sandra Quinn opening at Greenhut Galleries next week, “is the story of connections, of seeing the big picture,” she recently said. “These spaces create a rhythm which builds new perspective. From this point of view I link past to present, present to future.” The exhibition, Quinn’s fourth at Greenhut, features abstract works such as “A New Day,” in encaustic (pigmented wax), oil and other media. An opening reception is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 6, from 5-7 p.m., and the works are on view to Nov. 29. Greenhut Galleries is at 146 Middle St., Portland.
