“Whale Watching” is one of 45 mirrors, painted by students, to be auctioned at DiMillo’s Restaurant at 25 Long Wharf on the Portland Waterfront Nov. 14 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Hosted by Painting for a Purpose, the money raised will go toward student-led service learning projects in the Portland Public Schools. Carpentry students at Portland Arts and Technology High School built the mirrors. All mirrors may be previewed at paintingforapurpose.net.
