“The Exquisite Bird” is a collection of jewel-like photographs by Michael Milicia, opening during Portland’s First Friday Art Walk at Daunis Fine Handmade Jewelry, 616 Congress St. Milicia’s works have been published in National Geographic Magazine and The Boston Globe, and have been part of numerous exhibitions throughout New England. He brings his images, including “Pine-Grosbeak, Wilmington, Massachusetts,” to Daunis at an artist’s reception, Friday, Nov. 7, from 5-8 p.m. The show is on view to Dec. 29.
