“Lupines, Roses, Deer Isle,” by Portland painter Leslie Anderson, is part of a March and April exhibition at Daunis Fine Jewelry. Anderson, who lives on a flower farm in Sedgwick for half the year, will be showing recent paintings that capture, in part, what it’s like to be surrounded by blooms and married to the man who grows them, Dan Nygaard. An opening reception will be held 5-8 p.m. March 7 at the gallery at 616 Congress St., Portland. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
