On Saturday, June 23, The Falmouth Historical Society will dedicate its new barn and open the Falmouth Heritage Museum for the 2012 season. Starting at 9 am there will be refreshments amid displays of society activities followed by the 9:30 flag raising ceremony and 10 am Dedication Ceremonies with town officials. At 11 am attendees will have the opportunity to hear 15 minute rotating historical talks about the 1925 Reo Fire Engine, Smokey The Bear and Falmouth, From The Early Explorers To Today. From noon to 2 pm, enjoy a ‘baseball’ lunch and self guided tours of the museum, the Leighton Farm House, with its period furnishings and exhibits. The museum is located at 60 Woods Road in Falmouth.
