Friends of the Zorach Fountain pays homage to Barbara Sargent, one of the Bath preservation organization’s staunchest supporters, with a one-night exhibition of her drawings and paintings. A passionate advocate for the arts, justice and human rights, Sargent invited artist William Zorach in 1959 to create Bath’s unique public fountain. Sargent died in 2013. Her work, including “Lamp Post, Pont Alexandre III,” will be shown Friday, July 18, from 5-8 p.m., at The Winter Street Center, 880 Washington St., Bath. Admission is free; donations are suggested.
