In the midst of winter, Rob Anderson’s “Ice on the Slip” is a fitting feature of a new group exhibit at the Richard Boyd Art Gallery, opening Sunday, Feb. 1. The show includes paintings and sculptures by more than 10 Maine artists, and runs through the end of the month. Anderson, who works for the Casco Bay Lines ferry service, often depicts the state’s working waterfronts in his oil paintings. For this show, art lovers may need to ride the ferry; the gallery is at 15 Epps St., Peaks Island.
